Each of our district offices is open to the public from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, except on Court holidays. District office locations and a list of Court Holidays can be found on the Clerk’s Office menu on this site.

COURT CLOSURE DATES

Due to budgetary constraints, the Court of Appeals will be closed on the following dates pursuant to the order of Chief Judge Henry William Saad.

These closures are in conjunction with our regularly scheduled holiday closures on:

Filing deadlines that fall on a holiday or closure date are extended
to the next regular business day.

E-Filing Program Expanded. Effective February 6, 2009, the scope of the electronic filing and service program (E-File&Serve) will include the following:

  • Michigan Public Service Commission appeals
  • All criminal appeals
  • Civil appeals from Oakland Circuit Court that were assigned to that court's electronic filing project.
